Very few fighters ever accomplish more amateur accolades than the ones received by this young superstar. Hector Sanchez is a 20-year-old, Super Lightweight fighting machine! He posted an amateur record of 72-10, 27 KOs and was a two-time Puerto Rico National Champion.
During the 2000 Jr. Olympics held in New Orleans, Hector Sanchez was the bronze medal winner, and his accomplishments did not stop there. In 2002, Sanchez won the silver medal during the Copa International Tournament held in Mexico and then went on to win the gold medal during the 2003 International Tournament held in Puerto Rico.
Hector Sanchez possesses many of the boxing skills needed to be a great champion. He is an excellent counter puncher and shows great power. Hector truly is a complete boxer, and he has been compared by many in Puerto Rico to the great Tito Trinidad.
This 20 year old has not looked back since he turned pro. He has cut down the opposition while moving up in the rankings, showing he is everything he has been billed to be and more!
