Hydrogen Burning Star

With the never ending conquests to find a better source of fuel, there are many things that science is now looking at. From biodiesel to ethanol, these great alternatives have been proven to be somewhat of a success. However, there are many more solutions out there. Hydrogen is one other alternative for fossil fuels. Hydrogen might just be one of the greatest ideas for fuel. It is one of the most plentiful gases in the entire atmosphere. It is a very simple element and it is found virtually everywhere. Even the very stars are made up of Hydrogen which just goes to show how much is burning all the time.
Hydrogen is a very light gas that rises up in the air and is found in greater quantities higher up in the atmosphere than closer to the earth. It certainly is a good carrier of energy which is what makes it so appealing as a fossil fuel alternative. Hydrogen can be found and produced from many sources though it currently is not being produced in large quantities at this time. With further study though, this might change since hydrogen has proven to be beneficial.
Hydrogen is currently being used for its energy in many different places. Most of that is by the industrial industry rather than consumers for the automotive market. This is where seeing a change would be helpful. If we are going to find good energy sources to replace fossil fuel, we will have to start making some significant changes. Talk is cheap and action is necessary. Even NASA has found many ways to use hydrogen for their purposes. Perhaps it is time to start finding ways to use these alternatives in mass quantities rather than in small doses. There are some places that are currently using hydrogen in vehicles. However, most of these vehicles are public transport like buses or trains.
One potential downfall of using hydrogen as fuel is that we will need refuelling stations in order to gas up. It will cost money to make these fuelling stations and have them all operable. That is perhaps the greatest downfall to implementing any of these fossil fuel alternatives. It will get expensive ensuring they can be obtained in mass amounts. Finding the best energy source for the best price is going to be difficult. This is why there are so many possibilities and not one specific answer. One thing is certainly clear; we all have our very own role to play when it comes to protecting the environment.
At this time there are currently 63 fuelling stations for hydrogen in the United States of America. The majority of the stations are located in the state of California which makes it difficult for anybody else in need to use them. This is where the main problem comes in for hydrogen. Automobile manufacturers cannot take the risk of creating Hydrogen Cars when there is not enough consumer demand. Hydrogen will certainly provide us with energy. It is how we obtain it that matters.
